Buoy repair

Did you ever get some slalom buoys that have leaking fill valves? I ususally get a few in the box of new buoys each year. I found a fix! Instert a stainless nail (I used a stainless siding nail) the size of the needle using some lubricant. It stopped the valve leaking for me! Saved several brand new buoys and the cost of shipping replacement ones. We get our buoys from Wallyskier.com.
