RADAR Slalom Ski DEMO Day in NH Monday July 21st

RADAR Slalom Ski DEMO Day on Private Slalom Course or FREE SKI (Long Pond, Northwood NH) – Monday July 21st

Waterski Enthusiasts –

Exciting news as the Monday July 21st RADAR Demo Day approaches. I was just told that pro skier Brooks Wilson will be joining Ryan the RADAR Rep to rock and roll on Long Pond. In addition they will have every length their latest 2014 release of the Vapor with boots for every size foot they make. Of course the Senate and Theory ski as well for those interested.

I do need to know your intended TIME SLOT, as well what skis you’re interested in trying, so that we can make this run as smoothly as possible to avoid the “WAITING GAME”.

If you haven’t watched the Radar Video or one of Brooks “1 minute” weekly videos, please take a couple minutes to enjoy.

Hope to hear from many of you soon! Please forward on to other skiers who may be interested and drop me an email with their name/email. I promise I will not SPAM you or sell out to anyone as I’m strictly offering this as a FUN opportunity to fellow enthusiast waterskiers.

All Competitive & Slalom Fun Skiers –

For those looking to have a chance to demo a new ski OR those with lake friends who are aspiring to upgrade ski equipment to SHRED LIKE YOU on the course. ūüėČ Please pass along this amazing opportunity!!!

After many years of requesting a demo opportunity here in New Hampshire (from any ski company or retailer). After many persistent years I have the privilege to host Ryan Hughes (Northeast Sales) for Square One Distribution, the parent company of RADAR skis. Thank you to good friend and fellow buoy chaser Rich Crook for helping contact Ryan on this.

Ryan will be joining us Monday morning, July 21st (rain or shine).¬†As he said said it best¬†…¬†I‚Äôm coming from the NW where we ski in rain year around, so I say rain or shine we ski??”

Start time can be as early as 8am, but Ryan needs to be on the road by 6pm as he is heading to Portland Maine area afterwards.

As far as skis, please let me know of any special requests when viewing Radar’s website:

Ryan will be bringing the following skis, as well I just picked up a 2014¬†67″ Radar Vapor (Lithium Edition) and loving it. Already at 34mph it has made my 32 offs feel like 28 offs in less than a week of 1st getting on it. I was on a 67″ Radar Senate-C prior to that for the past few seasons and have been liking the Radars for awhile, starting with the MPD and moving to the RS-1. For example did you know that Radar makes a 63″ (up to 130lbs) ski for kids called the 2014 Radar Total Awesomeness Slalom Ski? If you have a little one wanting to try, please let me know.

Here’s what we’ll have to demo (but please email if you want to see something else)

67″ Radar Vapor Lithium Slalom Ski¬†(my personal settings and ski BTW)
66″ and¬†68″¬†Radar¬†Vapor Alloy Slalom Ski
67‚ÄĚ Radar¬†Graphite Senate
69‚ÄĚ Radar¬†Theory
Radar Vector boots Std/XL’s and a ARTP (adjustable rear toe plate)

As far as cost, this is a RADAR sponsored day so plan for 4-8 passes or whatever makes you feel comfortable. Each skier should take about 15 minutes so please reply with your preferred time frame, ski/binding to demo and we will go from there.

The address for the site will be sent with your confirmation email as we’ll be launching/loading from a different site than where I live on the pond. But for reference plan on 203 Long Pond Road, Northwood NH 03261 (bathroom facilities as needed).

The boat will be a 2008 Ski Nautique 196 with Zero Off and Perfectpass 6.5ng with 6.0L for your skiing pleasure. Surveyed course with some limited free skiing if required. We will drop at both ends to minimize rollers in the course.
