Juniors – Nationals Training Day, August 5th

Corey Vaughn

How did we get to mid-July so fast? I hope you all have been enjoying these summer days fully as they whiz by.

We’re proud to claim Corey Vaughn as an Eastern Region Skier. He does so much for the sport and always gathers great talent to coach at the Easter Region Junior Development overnight clinics.

As we ramp up to Regionals and Nationals, it’s a great time to pop in to peaceloveandwaterskiing.com for a tune up. Topher and Collin have been doing an amazing job in the boat, and Kuz is returning over a month early! He’ll be back on July 27.

With Kuz back in the boat, Corey is excited to offer a one-day Nationals Training Camp on August 5th. He’s planning to run from 9am until the kids have skied their fill. Each participant is welcome to take up to three sets of slalom and/or trick. For those who can, a carpool drop-off/pick-up scenario is perfect. Lunch is included from Subway and water and Gatorade will be available all day. For those coming from a bit farther away, there is the option to arrive the day before or stay on site for the day after for more training. The cost of the clinic will be $175/skier.

Corey will be in Washington State for Herb’s Cup, but Kuz is pumped up to get the kids skiing at their best for Nationals.

If interested, just email Corey at h2oskijunkie@gmail.com. It should be a great opportunity for the kids to have a fun day at the lake, push each other and get motivated by the coach with the most stoke. (Kuz and Corey will both be skiing at Nationals/US Open too, so the good vibes will be flowing from Bumpass to Illinois.
