Hello Eastern Region Skiers attending the 2023 RADAR Eastern Regional Championships!

The Friday Event Order will be as follows (resulting from today’s lightning storm):

Jump will be going off the dock first, at 8:00 a.m., in the following division order:

1. G4 (1 skier)
2. B5 (2 skiers)
3. M1 (5 skiers)
4. OM (1 skier)

Slalom will run after jump concludes, followed by trick.

The division order for slalom and trick will remain as published previously.

Note that officials for jump have been notified of their assignments and all assignments for Friday Slalom and Trick remain the same.

I’m happy to announce that the 2023 Eastern Regionals will be held at The Pond at Avon (CT) from July 26-29.  The appointed officials are (Chief Judge) David Knight, appointed judges:  Ralph Hall, Evan Robbins, Chip Jones, George Vosburgh, Bill Cirilli; (Chief Driver) Matt Byrne, appointed drivers:  Doug Robbins, Dan Warner, Cole Maurer; (Chief Scorer) Dave Allen, appointed scorers:  Tonya Maurer, Becky Bartlett; (Chief Safety) Leda Carpenter, (Assistant Chief Safety) John Wilkins; (Aspiring Official) Scott Bellefeuille.

The Eastern Region’s appointed officials for the 2023 Nationals are (currently):  Ralph Hall, David Knight, Bill Cooper* (if no additional ER judges volunteer), Doug Robbins, Becky Bartlett, Dave Allen.  TG Powell was selected by the AWSA President to be Chief Scorer at  Nationals!

I’m also excited to announce that the 2024 Eastern Regionals will be held at Timberlake (VA), and the 2025 Eastern Regionals will be held at The Pond at Avon.  On behalf of the Eastern Region, I’d like to express thanks and appreciation to the Old Farms Skiers and Timberlake.
