There has been a lot of discussion in the past few years about the competitive aspects of our sport, and the relative merits of skiing for ratings as opposed to competing for placement. A prerequisite for competition among individuals is an effective feedback mechanism which lets the competitor know where he stands relative to others in his sport. In an effort to informally and unofficially provide such a mechanism, this page is devoted to immediate publication of Eastern Region Tournament Results. waterskiResults are linked to individual tournaments on the Tournament Schedule Pages and grouped by Tournament Site, Ski Club, or State Federation here. Results will be posted as soon as possible after the information is received. Narratives describing the tournament are encouraged to provide background and "color" to supplement the "numbers". Photos can be included if available and desired on a space available basis. If sufficient interest is generated the information can be resorted by skier, or calculations applied to provide an unofficial Eastern Region Standings list, or into other formats.
