- 4/7/09 Wayne Canfield Treatment and Bracelets
- Son, Jon Canfield, reports: I imagine that all of you have heard
the news about my dad having brain cancer by now. Along with the
CaringBridge website that was setup for people to get updates
and leave messages (www.caringbridge.org/visit/waynecanfield),
my wife and I have setup a new website, www.waynecanfield.com,
with information about the diagnosis and the treatment plan. We
have also had awareness bracelets made with dad’s name and the
initials WHSWTD, which stands for "we have some work to do,"
the first thing dad said after hearing the diagnosis following
surgery. If you know dad, you’ll immediately recognize his attitude
in this simple comment. We're selling the bracelets for $5.00
each with all proceeds going to brain cancer research in dad's
name. I’m hoping that you will help us get the word out in your
regions however you can. If you have any questions at all, please
feel free to email me,
