Eastern Region Rules Committee Report 2018

2018 Eastern Region Tournament Schedule 012018

Summary of 2017 Regionals Financial Results

Here are the numbers and how they impact the AWSA Eastern Region accounts:

Big Picture:
Here are the final numbers for 2017 Eastern Regionals:
Total Income:  $30,074.05
Total Expense:  $22,601.10
Net Profit:  $7,472.95
Profit over $5000:  $2472.95
Total Share for LOC:  $3,489.18

Total Share for Region:  $3,983.77

AWSA EAST is $3983.77 richer due to the 2017 Regionals.

Without the profit sharing plan the region would have had ($2775) in expenses and no income from the 2017 Regional tournament due to standard Junior subsidies and Meeting Costs.

Click 2017 Regionals Income reconciled for a spreadsheet reconciled to the Regions bank account that was used for the tournament.

The end result is a positive $1208.77 in the bank.

Finally, I need to plug the Water Skiing Santa Show.  In it’s 32nd year, our VA, DC and MD skiers will take to the frigid water of the Potomac River between Alexandria, VA and our Nations Capital. You can see the show on world-wide news coverage at 1pm sharp Christmas Eve.

Blessings to all for a safe and joyous New Year.

Jim
