2009 AWSA Eastern Region Winter Meeting Notice

The AWSA Eastern Region Winter Meeting will be held at the newly named Embassy Suites:

The Embassy Suites was most recently (until last week) the Valley Forge Suites where we have met in recent years. So, if you remember how you got there, you won't have any trouble finding the Embassy Suites.

The hotel is all newly remodeled. There is a full breakfast included in your room rate and afternoon happy hours are also included.

To reserve a room at the rate of $115.00 you need to identify yourself as a member of USA Water Ski Regional Meeting. The phone number is 866-388-6106. Cut off date for this rate is the weekend of Jan. 3rd and 4th.

Marie Baker needs a count for lunch; as previously announced the Region is paying for the council's lunch. Others need to let Marie know if they are coming for lunch at a $9.00 charge by the weekend of Jan 3rd and 4th.

Our Regional Council Meeting will be held on Saturday morning, January 10th. The General Membership Meeting will be held in the afternoon on the same day. Lunch will be served at mid day. The Region will pay for lunch for Council Members. The cost of lunch for everyone else will be $9. We need to let the hotel know how many people they will be feeding, so I need to hear from you regarding your attendance. Please let me know that you will be attending or that you will not attend.

On Sunday, there will be officials' clinics. Bill Baker is making arrangements for a Judges' Clinic. I will conduct a Safety Clinic. If there is interest in other clinics, please write to let me know of your interest in conducting a clinic and/or attending a clinic.

I expect that we will start at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the Embassy Suites on January 10th. We will have several important topics to discuss, so please plan to attend.

FROM THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE AND POINTS NORTH - Take exit 326, Valley Forge/King of Prussia. After going through the toll booth, take exit 328A, West Chester/202 South. Follow 202 South for approximately 3 miles to the Chesterbrook Blvd. Exit. At the top of the exit ramp, make a right, the hotel entrance is on the right.
