Action Required by parents of Junior Competitiors at Regionals – Please RSVP for the Juniors Party by July 23.
It is going to be a great party at The Castle Fun Center, on Thursday July 27th, from 6-8pm. You won’t want to miss out.
Hey all – we were notified that folks were receiving an error when attempting to process payments to Pay Pal while registering for the Eastern Regional Championships.
If you were one of those people please re-enter your registration and continue to the payment screens. The Pay Pal issue has been resolved.
If you also signed up for a Site Familiarization set, but didn’t receive a confirmation email back, please re-process your request.

We have a great evening of fun planned for our juniors on Thursday evening from 6pm – 8pm at The Castle Fun Center – take a look at the website at http://thecastlefuncenter.com/.
All juniors competing at Regionals and their siblings are invited for fun, activities, pizza and ice cream. Parents are welcome to join in for the pizza and ice cream. However, we need to get a head count ahead of time. Please RSVP for the party by July 23 by emailing to TG Powell.
Parents who want to purchase activity passes for themselves can do so for a discounted price of $17.99 as long as you reserve your spot by the July 23rd deadline (payment can be made onsite at Regionals at the Junior Development Tent).
Stop by the Junior Development Tent at Regionals on Wednesday afternoon during registration, and all day Thursday. The tent will be between the two lakes, and close to both start docks. Juniors can check in to pick up their t-shirt and get their picture taken for the guidebook. Special thanks go out to Kaleidoscope Imprints for providing the T shirts! Parents and others can check out the FUNdraising activities including a raffle, equipment exchange, and a selection of water ski and East is Beast themed merchandise – all to benefit Junior Development.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Do you have t-shirts left over from your tournaments or events? Donate them to the Junior Development t-shirt sale. Event t-shirts are always some of our most popular items.
Donate you old water ski gear to the Junior Development Equipment Exchange Bin. Here is how it works: Bring your old wetsuits, bindings, gloves, handles, skis … drop it off at the used equipment exchange bin – look for the big blue bucket … and let’s do an equipment sale! You donate the equipment, others snag the equipment and put $$ in the jar. – all proceeds go to Jr Dev!!!!
Any questions or to volunteer to help out, contact TG Powell by email or at 703 395 7499, or stop by the juniors tent at Regionals.

Webmaster note: This has NOT been updated. Still correct. Just made the mistake of sending a duplicate notification.
An updated PDF is available, this will be considered the final event order and boat assignments with the exception for those divisions that are expecting to have a Master Craft.
Again, please note that we DO NOT have confirmation from Master Craft regarding boats at the regional championships. So those divisions/events currently show TBD for the boat type. This has been escalated and is being addressed.
The 2017 New York State Water Ski Championships will be held at Twin Lakes, Monroe, NY in conjunction with the Regional Tune Up. The event will be held on July 8 & 9 and is open to all New York skiers. The Tune Up is open to all skiers.
As noted, the event is held in conjunction with the Tune Up. There will not be separate events or rounds for the NY skiers, but for purposes of the Championships, the event will be scored as if only the NY skiers participated. The scores of non-NY skiers will not be effected for the Tune Up, or the ranking list, they just won’t be counted for the NY tournament.
Given that the Tune Up is sanctioned for four rounds, the first round Tune Up scores will count for purposes of the State Championships.
Awards for first place will mailed to the winners of all State Championship events, including overall.
There are no extra registration requirements. On-line registration is encouraged. If you have questions about the State Championships, please contact John Wilkins at email@example.com. If you have questions about the Tune Up, please refer to the Tournament Guide or use the AWSA mobile app.
If you are looking for a set at Twin Lakes on Wednesday 7/26, Thursday 7/27 or Friday 7/28 to get familiar with the site before regionals please read on ….
